Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 · Cairo
Ahlan! Welcome to Egypt. Your adventure begins in Cairo with a welcome meeting at 4:00 pm, where you’ll meet your tour leader and fellow travellers. If you arrive early, explore the neighbourhood or visit Coptic Cairo, the city’s historic Christian quarter. After the meeting, head out together to discover Khan al-Khalili Bazaar in Islamic Cairo — a labyrinth of narrow alleys filled with local merchants, offering the perfect introduction to daily Egyptian life.

Day 2 · Cairo – Overnight Train
Travel to Giza, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore the legendary pyramids, standing for over 4,500 years, and uncover their mysteries with your leader. Enjoy a panoramic view of all three pyramids before visiting the Great Sphinx of Giza. For lunch, try a plate of Koshary at a local restaurant — Egypt’s much-loved national dish. Afterwards, visit the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, housing one of the world’s greatest collections of ancient artefacts. In the evening, board an overnight sleeper train to Aswan.
